Show & Tell - New Oakland Boutique

I don’t know what it is about me and boutiques lately (read about client CH Good Stock), having regarded them as largely irrelevant for most of my 65 years, but today I stumbled into one in Oakland’s City Center, Show & Tell, on the way from my gym back to my office.  I’m not sure why I walked in, I do like to check out new businesses and there was just something about it’s feel that was welcoming, evening beckoning. It is a women’s and men’s clothing store with soft fabrics and gentle colors.  They tell me its both eco-friendly and fair trade, which are not big issues for me but I’m working on that.  I did not get the whole store but it appears as their are two woman owners, one of whom, Alyah, immediately engaged me and was earnest with her story and most welcoming.  This is just the kind of new, small local business that we should support.  I hope they do great.  Link to Show & Tell Website
